“Preference goes to current topics of general interest. Letters may be edited and cannot exceed 250 words. Please list your name, street address and daytime phone. Only your name and hometown will be published. No poetry, "open" or anonymous letters. Six weeks must elapse between letters from the same writer. Letters must be original, by the person who signs the letter, and exclusive to this newspaper.
“You might be contacted by e-mail for verification of your letter. If you block spam, please add eletters@fayobserver.com to your accepted addresses on your e-mail list.
